Bermuda currently exists on the Level 4 Covid-Alert with a very high level of Covid-19 according to the CDC. Travellers are advised to avoid all travel to the island as there is an increased risk of contracting and spreading the Covid-19 virus. The Government of Bermuda advises its borders are opened and welcomes visitors with stipulated travel protocols.
All travellers entering Bermuda are required to complete the online Travel authorisation process no more than three (3) days prior to departure. Travellers are subject to a mandatory $75 fee which covers the cost of all Covid-19 testing on the island. Children nine (9) and below are subject to a $30 Travel Authorisation fee whereby no Covid-19 testing is required.
All entrants are required to obtain negative PCR Covid-19 test results taken within five (5) days of arrival. Travellers are advised to obtain health insurance covering Covid-19 related illnesses, outside of their home country.
Upon arrival, travellers are to present a physical or e-copy of their Travel Authorisation along with their negative Covid-19 test results. Entrants are then required to undergo Covid-19 testing at the Bermuda International Airport and remain quarantined at their accommodations until their results are obtained. Travellers are also subject to a traveller wristband for the first fourteen (14) days of their stay.
